In this article, we’d be talking about all the problems or flaws in phone 12 aka mistakes committed by Apple in iPhone 12. So let’s start exposing Apple today !! Just Kidding.
All The Problems With Apple's iPhone 12

The First Problem: No Power Adapter (Charger)

If you have previously bought an iPhone, you would have seen it accompanied by a USB-C cable, a power adapter and a pair of Airpods. However, now if you unbox the brand new iPhone 12, you’d only see a phone with a USB-C cable. And if you want a power adapter, you will have to buy it separately. Why is Apple doing this with us?

According to EveythingApplePro, Apple will be replacing the 5W charger with a 20W fast charger for all its new devices and gadget and in order to derive its sales, they will be removing the 5W charger that usually comes with the iPhone.

The price of the power adapter hasn’t been revealed yet, but according to the estimates by Forbes it would cost around $29 for the new fast charger.

The Second Problem: No Earpods

This would drive you crazy, I know as I went crazy hearing this.

What on Earth is Apple doing?

What is the need of removing the Airpods?

Was removing charger not enough?

Airpods will cost an extra $69 to buy separately. Effectively, an iPhone 12 standard model (worth $649) would cost $747 if you want a charger and a pair of airpods. This is almost a $100 increase. The reason for this isn’t that strange: Money. Apple’s has justified its move of not including Airpods by claiming to promote and encourage Apple users to be interested in Airpods. Though this seems quite selfish, but it’s actually justifiable because Apple is planning to launch the 3rd generation of Airpods during 2021.

Furthermore, the removal of Earbuds and Power Adapter serves a greater purpose than our potential frustration. Apple is playing to go cable free in the upcoming years and to cut down massive amounts of E-Waste that the planet has been bombarded with, Apple wants to take this initiative by cutting down on costs to the company and the environment at the expense of price of the device.

The Third Problem: Battery Issues (Lower Capacities)

The Battery Capacities of the iPhone 12 series is as follows:

iPhone 12 (5.4 inch): 2,227 mAh

iPhone 12 Max (6.1 inch): 2,775 mAh

iPhone 12 Pro (6.4 inch): 2,775 mAh

iPhone 12 Pro Max (6.7 inch): 3,687 mAh

I have been using Oppo A37 since the last 3 years for my work and it has a battery capacity of 2,300 mAh. Literally, I have to take my charger with me everytime I go out, since the battery of this phone drains like water even thought there is no sophisticated function or capabilities in it.

The shocking thing about the battery capacities of the new iPhone 12 models is that with the low battery capacity, the system would be performing highly sophisticated functions. For instance, iPhone 12 is Apple’s first 5G smartphone in the market and according to a lot of researches 5G medoms consume significantly more power than 4G modems, which is obviously due to the upgraded tech. However, if we look at Apple’s fiercest rival Samsung, which has recently launched the Galaxy S20, it has upgraded the battery capacity by 15% from the last launch 5G smartphone. Even after that, Samsung users reported battery draining issues with the device. What would you expect from iPhone 12 (5.4 inch) which has a very high resolution, A14 Bionic chip and running 5G, will it not drain the battery? In fact, higher resolution and greater system upgrades drain the battery much faster. Ironically, Apple has upgraded every single component from the iPhone 11 series except the battery capacity (reduced by 10%).

Another report from Forbes suggests that Apple submitted its batteries to Chinese, Korean and Danes Battery Certification Companies and every single company responded negatively by thrashing Apple’s low battery capacities and said that it could have serious consequences for potential buyers.
